There are several ways where you can enjoy your Contour Sports in your in-guide app to stay updated with your favorite team’s updates like player information, team stats, and team scores.
There are 2 ways where you can get access of your sports guide:
The first way is to take the advantage of the mic option on your remote. Just press the “mic” icon on your remote and say “Sports App” to open the app. You will have a side pop up on your right showing you the sports app interface.
Another way is press the “C” button which will again show you the pop up on your right. Here you can find your favorite team’s full data and information you desire and even highlights of their games. You can now navigate from your remote to select your desired action. Note that the channels shown in your contour menu are subjected to the channel pack you have selected.
You have now successfully entered your contour sports app. You can navigate to access your team’s score, watch live games, and even change settings. All the live games will have a “watch” icon beside the team pop up to signify that the game is being telecasted live. Select any game and press “ok” on your contour remote.
How to set your favorite team’s reminder in Contour 2 Sports In-Guide App?
To find the option, just scroll to your right to select the action and select your favorite team below from the suggestions or search for it.
Now select your desired team and you will be taken to a new window.
This new window contains settings like notification type, display notification, set as a favorite and record all games.
Now to set a reminder, change the notification type to “Game Start“. Also, you can change the nature of display notifications from “no TVs” to “all TVs“.
To take things further you can set that team as your favorite by changing the option to “yes“. This team will now show under the “favorites” section.
Lastly, if you wish to record that game, change the record all games setting to “yes“
To affirm the changes, scroll to the upper left of the screen and click “confirm”. A confirmation window will pop up showing your changes have been saved.
Now you will start receiving alerts and notifications of your favorite team on your TV. You’re all set now, sit back and enjoy.
